Voor DDW 2024 bundelen Houtwerff en Onno Adriaanse hun krachten en presenteren samen een bijzondere keuken op Sectie-C. Houtwerff is gespecialiseerd in het maken van unieke en handgemaakte keukens en interieurs. Onno Adriaanse maakt sculpturale meubels en hoogwaardige interieurafwerkingen, waarbij natuurlijke processen vaak een inspiratie vormen.

Zo ontstond ook de Dawn collectie, gebaseerd op de prachtige kleurovergangen die te zien zijn bij een helder ochtendgloren. Objecten uit de Dawn collectie worden afgewerkt met een verloop van een donkere kleur die langzaam overgaat in een transparante tint waarbij de natuurlijke kleur van het hout weer zichtbaar wordt.

De fronten van de Dawn keuken zijn gemaakt in essen fineer en het corpus in een contrasterende paarse kleur. Voor het eerst is de Dawn afwerking in een warme bruine kleur uitgevoerd, waardoor de esthetiek van Houtwerff en Onno Adriaanse perfect samensmelten.

For DDW 2024, Houtwerff and Onno Adriaanse are joining forces to present a unique kitchen at Sectie-C. Houtwerff specializes in crafting one-of-a-kind, handmade kitchens and interiors, while Onno Adriaanse is known for creating sculptural furniture and high-end interior finishes, often drawing inspiration from natural processes.

It was also the inspiration for the Dawn collection, based on the beautiful color transitions visible during a clear sunrise. Objects in the Dawn collection feature a finish that transitions from a dark hue to a transparent tint, gradually revealing the natural color of the wood.

The fronts of the Dawn kitchen are crafted in ash veneer, with the corpus made in a contrasting purple color. For the first time, the Dawn finish is presented in a warm brown color, seamlessly blending the aesthetics of Houtwerff and Onno Adriaanse.
